Bush Ross Shareholder Appointed to Federal Bar Association Committee

Bush Ross shareholder Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe has been appointed to a three year term on the Federal Bar Association’s Bench/Bar Relations Committee, which is responsible for facilitating and acting as the liaison between the federal judiciary and the members of the Federal Bar Association.  Ms. Moe is one of six federal practitioners from across the United States who will serve on the committee along with six members of the federal judiciary and the Clerk of the United States Supreme Court.  The Federal Bar Association’s mission is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary, and the public they serve.

Ms. Moe is an experienced trial lawyer who has received an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell® for her practice involving contract and employment disputes, professional liability, medical negligence, and construction law.  She represents corporate and individual clients in both state and federal court and regularly acts as local counsel to non-resident firms in matters pending before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  She is the Vice President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and has been a member of the Board of Directors of that organization since 2008.  Prior to joining Bush Ross, she served a law clerk to United States District Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington in the Ft. Myers and Jacksonville divisions of the Middle District of Florida.
