Bush Ross Shareholder Presents CLE at Federal Courthouse
Bush Ross shareholder Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe presented “What You Need to Know About Practicing in the Middle District of Florida” at the Sam M. Gibbons U.S. Courthouse in Tampa, Florida on May 6, 2014. Ms. Moe’s presentation focused on the Local Rules for the Middle District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida Discovery Handbook. The program included remarks from the Honorable Thomas B. McCoun, III, United States Magistrate Judge and a representative from the office of the Clerk of Court. The presentation was provided courtesy of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in conjunction with the swearing in ceremony for attorneys newly admitted to practice in the United States District Court in and for the Middle District of Florida.
Ms. Moe is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on civil litigation involving contract and employment disputes, professional liability, medical negligence, and construction law. She represents corporate and individual clients in both state and federal court and regularly acts as local counsel to non-resident firms in matters pending before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She has three times been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the field of commercial litigation (2012, 2013 and 2014). Florida Super Lawyers has recognized her as a “Rising Star” every year since 2009 and she was named by Florida Trend as one of Florida’s “Up and Coming Legal Elite” in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Prior to joining Bush Ross, Ms. Moe served as a law clerk to the Honorable Virginia M. Hernandez Covington, United States District Judge, Middle District of Florida.
