Billing Specialist

The Position
Our Administration team has an opening for Billing Specialist. This position performs a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment under minimal supervision. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Confirm that all timekeepers have billed and released their time in the appropriate accounting period
- Print and distribute draft invoices (“pre-bills”) to attorneys
- Collect revisions to draft invoices in a timely manner and make necessary edits
- Print/prepare invoices and process them for billing
- Maintain electronic billing data bases, and process e-billing
- Process write-offs under the direction of attorneys or COO
- Answer billing inquires and prepare special reports as needed or directed
- Assist with client collection questions/issues
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of billing experience in a law firm
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
