
Katie Tilka Martinez
Katie Tilka Martinez brings over a decade of litigation experience representing clients across Florida, with a current focus on advising condominium and homeowners' associations on matters involving governance, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Bush Ross, Ms. Martinez practiced for several years at a AmLaw 200 law firm, where she represented both domestic and foreign insurers in complex first-party insurance coverage disputes. Her practice spanned residential and commercial property claims, including multimillion-dollar condominium losses, through all stages of litigation—from pre-suit evaluation through resolution. Ms. Martinez also has extensive experience in lender representation, title litigation, and foreclosure law, having served as first chair in hundreds of contested hearings and non-jury trials throughout the state.
Ms. Martinez is known for her pragmatic approach and attention to detail, helping clients navigate complex legal issues with clarity and confidence. She routinely advises community association boards on statutory compliance, contract interpretation, and resolving disputes with developers, owners, and vendors.
