H. Wayne Clark, Jr.

H. Wayne Clark, Jr., is a Shareholder at Bush Ross. His practice focuses on hospitality law, construction law, trucking law, premises and security liability, condominium disputes, wrongful death, and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts.

As part of representing his hospitality clients, Mr. Clark has overseen hundreds of investigations into criminal acts ranging from deaths, sexual assault, prostitution, human trafficking, and theft of high-end commercial products to various other crimes. He has also assisted clients with numerous large fire-loss investigation claims.

Mr. Clark also assists his corporate clients with all aspects of criminal investigations for civil purposes.

A large portion of his practice is devoted to commercial litigation and the representation of both high-end and economy hotels on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and national real estate developers. He also handles construction litigation throughout the State of Florida, representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in matters involving both residential and commercial properties. Mr. Clark has litigated matters ranging from routine lien claims to complex, multimillion-dollar construction defect cases and serves as counsel for a Fortune 500 construction company.

Mr. Clark is adept at handling the gamut of discovery issues and has taken thousands of depositions. He has considerable experience researching complicated legal issues and drafting substantive legal pleadings in matters ranging from multidistrict and class-action litigation to complex litigation in state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Bush Ross, Mr. Clark was a Partner at a national firm, where he ran its hospitality practice nationally, as well as its construction division within the State of Florida.

He gained extensive experience in the construction arena while serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, where he worked as an Airborne Engineer and Construction Engineer. He also served two years as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Robert Rosenberg and the Honorable Victor Tobin in the 17th Judicial Circuit.
