Experience Eric Appleton has over a decade of experience representing real estate owners, commercial associations and residential community associations throughout Florida. Mr. Appleton's practice focuses on assisting association officers, directors and property managers with corporate operations, including litigation, arbitration, mediation and transactions. Mr. Appleton has represented real property owners, commercial associations and residential community associations in complex disputes with residents, tenants, lenders, insurance carriers, neighboring property owners, vendors and developers at mediation, arbitration and trial. Mr. Appleton also has considerable experience litigating collection and foreclosure actions, as well as property damage claims in Florida. Mr. Appleton is also certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Court mediator.
Bar Admission Mr. Appleton is admitted to practice in Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Recognitions, Associations and Professional Activities Mr. Appleton is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Community Associations Institute, Suncoast Chapter and The Florida Bar Construction Law Committee. He served as the Co-Chairman of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section from 2006 until 2009. Mr. Appleton has frequently appeared as a lecturer at various events sponsored by The Florida Bar, the Community Associations Institute, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and Lorman Education Services. Mr. Appleton has received recognition as a member of Florida's "Up & Coming Legal Elite" by Florida Trend magazine and as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine. In 2010 and 2011, Mr. Appleton was also named to the "Florida Super Lawyers" list by Super Lawyers magazine.
