Mr. Chapman represents small businesses and large corporations in complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal court. He routinely handles business, commercial and contract disputes, construction and real estate disputes, employment litigation, and other general commercial litigation matters. He has also assisted numerous clients with real estate transactions, business transactions, including commercial finance, secured lending, and mergers and acquisitions, and regularly handles commercial lending transactions. Before joining Bush Ross, he practiced general commercial litigation, real estate and commercial lending law with Sivyer Barlow & Watson, P.A. in Tampa and started his career at Battaglia, Ross Dicus & Wein in St. Petersburg.  

Mr. Chapman is actively involved in several community organizations. He currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for Cristo Rey Tampa High School. Mr. Chapman also regularly volunteers his time to the First Tee of Tampa Bay, Community Law Program, Roosevelt Elementary Dad’s Club, and also as a Moot Court Coach to law students attending Stetson University College of Law.

Mr. Chapman was born in Boynton Beach, Florida, raised in Dunedin, Florida and has lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 35 years. He enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three boys.
