Yolyvee Y. Rivera
Yolyvee Y. Rivera focuses her practice in the area of professional liability litigation, with particular emphasis on the defense of lawyers, law firms, accountants, surveyors, as well as real estate agents and brokers against claims of professional liability. Ms. Rivera also has experience in construction defect litigation, real estate and foreclosure litigation, and commercial litigation. Ms. Rivera is involved in all phases of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings and complex dispositive motions, conducting document reviews, preparing memoranda of law, arguing at court proceedings, handling mediations and all aspects of settlement.
Ms. Rivera joined Bush Ross, P.A. in July 2016, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining Bush Ross, Ms. Rivera was an associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP. Ms. Rivera began her legal career in 2009, as an associate at Richman Greer, P.A., in Miami, Florida, where she gained experience in commercial, real estate litigation, and family law.
During law school, Ms. Rivera served as a legal intern to the Honorable Harry Lee Anstead, of the Florida Supreme Court, in Tallahassee, Florida.
In addition to her other law school accomplishments, Ms. Rivera was a member of the Dean's List, and was featured in the Florida Bar News for the Florida Bar, regarding her accomplishments as an associate attorney and her passion for law and dance.
Ms. Rivera speaks Spanish fluently.

Ms. Rivera was born and raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
